STAY PUT, OR OPEN TO THE NEW?

aviemoream

There aren't any hard and fast rules

A judgement call for each of us to make

Staying put can feel safe and protected, knowing what we know

Or constrained, limiting, stifling - feeling that you're playing small

YOU KNOW WHEN YOU KNOW IT'S TIME TO MAKE A SHIFT

Trying to step away, but getting pulled back

Into a loop of expectation, obligation, fear of change

So you stay put - taking a step back rather than stepping away

Until it begins to get uncomfortable - like a coat that no longer fits

The more your energy dips, the more you ask yourself what's taking it

The decision to stay put, rather than being open to the new?

Becoming clearer that you need to unplug from the mainstream

And live within the slipstream

So you start to really listen to yourself

YOU KNOW IT'S TIME TO CUT TIES AND LET GO

Of what it is in your life that no longer resonates

With your truth

Your vision

With the path you've chosen.

This has been my experience over the past couple of months

I went deep

Creating time and space for reflection

Re-balancing my energy, shaping the future as my work expands into new territory

Greater clarity about the path I'm carving

If you've reached a turning point, remember that when we find our 'why', we'll never lose our way

Inspired by the quote with wise words from Anais Nin

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom"
