WHAT IS FINDING TRUE NORTH?
During lockdown in 2020, I identified a need for people to be better resourced to adapt to the pace and scale of change that a global crisis was having on our lives. So I brought together my corporate and personal experience in services designed to help individuals and companies disconnect from the 'noise' of a churning world around them and reconnect with their own stillness and sense of purpose. This led me to creating my business, 'Finding True North'.

ANN McCLUSKEY
My experience is immersed in transformation, especially is supporting people through significant life events and navigating the 'messiness' that transition often brings. I 'talk my walk' in sharing what I've learned from living life 'on the run' and how it took me to burnout and beyond. Through my own example, I show you how to make sense of your life - living it at a slower pace, finding more meaning, and a sense of purpose.
I've always been fascinated by human behaviour - how some people relish and thrive with change while others find it uncomfortable.....even traumatic. What never ceases to amaze me is the strength of the human spirit as we experience the 'light and shade' of daily life. I see life as a journey of exploration and discovery - one that's a never-ending spiral of experiences......rather than a perfectly straight line that takes us from A to B.
Taking a holistic approach, my interest is in the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. My guiding principle is that all change starts with us. The only way we can change our lives is by changing how we respond to what shows up. Working with me, you'll find a safe space for reflection and the opportunity to explore new thinking and approaches.
I help you to see who you really are - beyond the blind spots and behind the personality that's shown on the outside. Restoring wellbeing lies at the heart of my support - it's the essence of who you are, how you engage with others, and the challenges that come your way. You'll gradually notice that your old self begins to become less visible as your new self starts to step forward.

Before the birth of Finding True North, I had a successful corporate career as an Organisational Psychologist, then HR Director in both the private and public sectors where my expertise lay in leading organisational change, developing and supporting leaders through significant (often traumatic) transition, and delivering wellbeing recovery programmes following mergers and acquisitions. I supported corporate organisations as an executive coach, mentor, facilitator, and mediator for over 25 years. During this time, I also trained as an energy healer with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (now The Healing Trust) and this is a great support in my client work.
Nowadays, my work as a spiritual coach, stress management practitioner, and meditation facilitator offers personal and spiritual growth and peace of mind to clients from all walks of life - including business owners, corporate leaders, HR professionals, and pro bono support for charities and community groups. I work online and in person from the SW of England.
